Large/Small Rings

With AJAX’s  2 Radial rolling mills, we are able to manufacture a wide variety of ring sizes ranging from 7.5”.- 120” OD with weights up to 4,000lbs.

Heat Treatment

AJAX has a state of the art Heat Treatment facility with six tip up gas fired furnaces with 10ft X 10ft working hearths and 20,000 lb capacity each. A choice of heat treatment cycles and quenchant types permit us to serve the needs of our customers. Technical advice is available from a degreed metallurgist.

Testing

AJAX has On-site testing available for Brinell hardness, Spectra testing to verify material grade and dye penetrant testing. A fully accredited and approved testing laboratory is used for more extensive testing requirements for customers with more complex needs.

Machining

AJAX in-house machining capabilities service customers who prefer to receive a semi-finished product, rather than an “as rolled” ring.

Contour Rolling

Our experienced Engineering Staff gives AJAX the expertise to offer our clients contour-rolled rings to more closely match the desired finished shape saving both time and money. Technical advice is available from our Sales department.
