AJAX AWARDED 2011 BUSINESS OF THE YEAR
Friday, January 27th, 2012 was a proud day in the histroy of AJAX. The Greater York County Chamber of Commerce presented business awards during its 73rd annual meeting. AJAX Rolled Ring and Machine was awarded the 2011 Business of the Year. This award is based upon votes from other businesses in the community and is an honor bestowed previously on companies such as Duke Energy and York County Natural Gas. This award was presented to Simon Ormerod, CEO of AJAX (Far right below).

AJAX NOW USING CUSTOMER WEB-BASED PORTAL
AJAX is rolling out its new customer web-based portal. Three customers are currently Beta testing these portals to give AJAX feedback on its strengths and weaknesses. Beta testing is planned to be complete in the next two weeks. Once complete, AJAX will release the portal to a wider audience. The portals will enable customers to access Invoice Lists, Order Lists, Packlists, Order Status, Part Data and other features, all online in a secure portal.
The portal will also include a calendar of important AJAX events and news items. In the future, we will make Certificates of Conformance and Bills of Lading available. All of this will be done using state-of-the-art software in combination with SharePoint. |
